Hi, I am just curious, I read in one of the reviews here that it has a French keyboard, what do you mean by that? Does it differ really from the standard QWERTY positioning?

It does differ but not enough to make a huge impact on day to day use, ive had mine for 2 months now and i couldnt be happier with it except with the OS. Just never been a fan with windows 8. But the computer runs great, plays games with no problems and is fast on web browsing. Its definitly a good bang for your buck Computer and like i said the keyboard differance isnt too bad, in all honesty it didnt even take me an hour to get used to it. Number and type of USB Ports?

This laptop has three total USB ports,  the two on the left side are USB 3.0, and the one on the right is USB 2.0

This will be my first time purchasing a refurbished item.  Should I be at all worried?

No, just like New there are bad apples in the a pile. I have bought plenty of refurbished things and they work just fine. Sometimes they are just opened boxes that are return so the only thing missing is the original packaging. My that I am typing on now is excellent. I also think they go through testing which a New unit may never go through so I never hesitate on a refurbished unit.

Is this a good gaming laptop? Is it good for Tf2? Also How fast does it run other games?

This laptop is excellent for the price. It was purchased as a gift, but I can answer this question for you :) It surpasses the recommended system requirements to run Team Fortress 2, so you should be happy with it in this regard. It has handled a number of current games with style, as it were. I have personally witnessed it handle Borderlands 2 very well.

Are you able to install a SSD whiles still having the 1TB hard drive? If so anyone have any recommended 120 GB SSD to add?

I am assume that the 1 TB HDD is running at 5400 rpm. Has anyone tried or know if you can either add an SDD or 7200 rpm hard drive?

There is an additional slot for another hard drive. I added an SSD to mine, and you could probably swap out the 1TB for something else pretty easily.

There are 2- usb ports, 2- super speed usb ports, an hdmi port, an external monitor port, and an Ethernet port.

I actually have a few questions.
1: Is this laptop compatible with Windows 7 64 Bit?
2: Can this laptop be overclocked?
3: Is there room for more RAM, or is 8 GB the limit?

1.  Yes, I've installed Windows 7 64 Bit on it, but the bios boot settings need to be tweaked, such as UEFI and Safe Boot.

2.  I have not tried, and given the space restrictions, I'm not sure it would be a good idea with stock cooling.

3.  I saw both RAM slots being occupied when I added a second HDD, and ASUS did not have additional info.  8GB is enough for me so I didn't dig deeper, but perhaps you can do an internet search on the chipset, and that may give you the answer you're looking for.
