Do these actually get white or are they blended like most rgb strips?

They blend to “try” to make white. Therefor the result is a very clear blue. Almost looks white but not quite.

Question 2

The specs say this is a 3-pin connection.  Is that correct?  Shouldn't this be a 4-pin (12v/R/G/B) connection if it is a 5050 RGB LED standard?

The product does not plug into a 4 pin RGB header. It plugs into a 3 pin addressable RGB header such as the one on an Asus Maximus X Z370 motherboard. This is also illustrated on one of the pictures above.

Why is the 60cm cheaper than the 30cm? Am I missing something here?

Yes, you are missing an understanding of a few laws of economics. One is economy of scale; more people buy the 60cm than the 30 since 30 is too short for most people. Since that sells better Asus can have a million made at a time rather than 100k or whatever = cheaper to make = cheaper to sell for the same profit. And over time that just makes the price differences even greater due to overhead, warehouse space, etc.  I'd guess the reason the 30cm is still made at all is because the 60cm can't simply be cut/trimmed and still work like some strips.
