Does DD-WRT or other 3rd party builds work with this router?

All I can say is that i replaced my Linksys with the Blue Cave. Should have only taken 5 minutes but i thought i was smarter than the router and took 15 minutes to install. Follow mfg. Instructions and it works great. No drops or reboots as was my older Linksys.
