Can you use a touch screen monitor with this computer?

You should be able to use a touchscreen with this computer especially if you are using windows 8 since it is geared towards touchscreens.
Windows 7 will work as well but not as good as Windows 8 as far as the touchscreen goes.

Can the memory, of 8GB, be increased to 16GB? If so, what needs to be purchased.

the asus BP1AD/ i7 can support up to 16GB ddr 3, i currently am running 8 gb and it is really quick i think for me 8 gb is enough. the asus is the fastest computer i've owned and am really satisfied with the machine.

The dimensions can be found on any website selling it. if I can remember correctly I didn't have to do anything special to it at first boot up. It takes you through it step by step

It would have to be a low profile card. There is only about 2 1/2" clearance. I didn't find it in the specs, but it looks like there are 2 PCI slots and a PCI Express x1 slot. You don't mention what card you are trying is use in the box.

The instructions say both.  Mine came with win 7 preinstalled, and the recovery cd seems to have win 8 on it.  The instructions say you have the option to use one or the other

Depends on the requirements of the application you are going to install. What are the specs for the application? If the requirements are met ten the application will run just fine.

i just picked up my asus from the computer store, nice to have it tthe info transfer from my old unit to this unit, i asked the teck if the asus would accept another hard drive and the answer was yes but heat might be a problem with two hard drives on board.
