i hava 1200 watt ps could i use this card ?

I am running this same GPU in my system.  My PSU is a Corsair AX1200 modular.  That awesome 1200W PSU is also powering an Asus Z87 Deluxe Dual Mobo w/Intel Core i7 4770k CPU, an LG R/W LightScribe BD ODD, 2 x Toshiba 2T HDD's, 1 x Hitachi 1T HDD, 1 x 256 GB Samsung SSD, 2 x Samsung 22" LED/LCD Monitors, 32 GB of G Skill RAM, Asus NFC Sensor, Asus WiFi-Go Access Point, USB access for charging, headsets & microphones, 5 x 120mm+ Case Fans, PSU Fan, CPU Fan, a 3T and 500GB External HDD's, and probably a couple other things, all without so much as the tiniest power blip.  I knew I was going to build with expandability in mind, thus the one thing I would NOT scrimp on would be the power supply.  If you have any kind of a decent brand of PSU, and are running anything similar to the configuration I am running, you should be able to load up the graphics intensity and not see a blip of complaint from your PSU.  As a matter of fact, I will likely expand my system to one more of these GPU cards in SLI, and a couple more HDD's and SDD's.  I will of course verify the power requirements of any new components vs the PSU capabilities, but this Corsair kicks electron butt, and is really steady eddy on all the GUI readouts that I can view.  Your 1200W PSU should be just fine.  Asus recommends 600W minimum, but that would be with pretty minimal components and power draw.  My estimate would be 850W - 1000W as a safer minimum, and that would allow you to add a component or two down the road.  Enjoy your new GPU, you're going to love it!

I know it says PCIe 3.0. I have a PCIe 2.0 motherboard. Will that be an issue for me if I were to purchase this card?

No, it just won't perform at the PCI 3.0 capabilities. I am using it in 2.0 and it does just fine.

Question 3

Has anyone else had issues of computer crashing or freezing with this video card? I just bought it and my computer is now crashing at load-screens and cut-scenes, usually when the workload of the card passes from heavy to low which makes this issue weird

I have not had this issue at all.   First let me ask are you sure you have sufficient power output.  If your psu does not pull the full load its needing to maintain the card and the accoutrements such as the motherboard then that would definitely cause a crash.    Also check to make sure you have all old drivers wiped before installing new ones.  Sometimes a bad uninstall leaves the board with wrong power ratios or does not meet what the card needs.   After that if it still occurs, keep the pc powered down  to reduce risk of electrical malfunctions. Hey, I was curious about something. Now I bought the 4GB variation of this card and I compared this to the GTX690. How is it that the 690 is more powerful, but this is higher in product number? Just curious.

The 690 is a higher end card in the last generation.  I believe it is a dual GPU card, and even now is still top teir.  The 770 is more comparable to the 680.

this card  comes whit a free copy of  AC IV?

Hi,

I have an asus p6x58d-e x58 mother board w/a 800 watt power supply  will the "ASUS DirectCU II GTX770-DC2OC-4GD5 GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card" fit the board and power supply?

The power supply should be plenty big, as the card only requires 500-600 watts. Be sure you have both a 6-pin and an 8-pin PCI plug from the power supply. the card requires both. As far as the mother board I'm trying to install mine in a Dell XPS 8500 and it's not working. But it's likely a problem with the Dell BIOS. Check the web to see if someone has installed it in your Mobo.

Question 7

Does this support Nvidia GameStream?  For hooking up to the Nvidia Shield?

As long as the graphics card is 600 or higher its supports Nvidia Shield.  Although I haven't used it at all, this card does support this feature.
