Pros: Compact, quiet, prob. pretty fast but haven't tested it yet. Great value. I had been looking at the older style Asus refurb with same specs. This case it SOO MUCH better looking so I'm glad it was unavailable. And unlike the older ones there were NO loose or disconnected cables on the inside.

Cons: Warranty sticker was already broken on case so no second thoughts about opening the case up for inspection. Seems like it takes a long time to boot for a brand new computer. Upgrading video card may be tricky. Only has a 300watt power supply and 1 of the 2 pci slots is right below the GPU slot. So you have to use a low profile card or you sacrifice one of your pci slots.

Pros: Asus & Intel compatibility & reliability New case design for this line (no more flip-door covering usb/card-reader, etc) Large RAM & HD, room for expansion Very little bloat-ware (Office 2010 preview edition and trendnet internet security)

Cons: none for my usage and I plan to add a few parts that some people may want to have in their machine from the get-go.

Overall Review: I was worried about getting a 're-certified' unit, and this is the first machine I haven't built from pieces- however, this computer exceeds my expectations, so far. The only indication I had that this machine was 're-certified' were the fingerprints and a bit of dust on the glossy-black finish. These wiped off easily using micro-fiber cleaning cloth. I plan on adding my own wireless card & a video card, eventually- I knew ahead of time that this model lacked wireless connectivity and a discrete graphics adapter, however, the Intel GMA graphics adapter (on-board video) is still far superior to what I have been using previously on my outdated P4. Despite coming from XP, I like Windows 7 a lot and I appreciate the response time and snappiness of this computer right-out-of-the-box!

Pros: Nice looking box, fast, 8G ram, 1Tb drive what is not to like. Not into gaming so don't need a separate graphics card. Should be perfect for my home office with business related spreadsheets and presentations. My last computer was very noisy, this one is very quiet, you can hardly tell it is on.

Cons: Power supply is small if you are going to add a graphics card and other things.

Overall Review: Other than a small nick in the face and the broken seal, the unit couldn't be told from new. I needed a computer quickly as I blew up my motherboard on my old PC when I installed a new power supply. I would have built another from scratch, but it would have probably cost me more to build my own with the same specs as this unit. This was the best specs for the $ that I could find and a good brand name. This is the first assembled computer I have purchased in at least 10 years, and it looks like it was a good decision to buy this with the re-certified price.

Pros: Great value for your buck, only drawbacks are all Microsoft related follies. Very little bloatware aside from Asus' silly utility, and an AV software which uninstalled easily. Files copied over, up and running in a few hours. Quiet too.

Cons: Attempting to make the case sleek, they made the power button identical to the CD tray eject button. The mother-in-law has turned it off twice while trying to eject the CD. Not a big con, but not the best idea in HCI.

Pros: Minimum bloatware/ Fast processor/8GB Ram/HDMI Port/Quiet/Fast boot up

Cons: HDMI port located against rear edge of case made it difficult to plug my HDMI cable in. Other than that NONE!

Overall Review: Unlike previous post my pc did arrive with 8 GB of ram. PC is perfect for home use. Able to watch HULU full screen without lag. Itunes and web surfing perform flawlessly. I was concerned about integrated graphics..but have been really pleased..Not a gamer so this PC is perfect for Me. Since this PC is refurbished, I purchased 2 year protection for around $75..PC arrived looking brand new! Buy this PC!

Pros: Exceptionally fast, not much bloatware. Cascading problems aside, I still like it's potential, especially for the price.

Cons: Continual crashing; first of browsers, then OS, then drivers. In process of RMA with ASUS as of 12 Jan, after failed system recovery. Item does not come with recovery CDs. Expect to return to ASUS under manufacturer warranty, and will let them deal with it. Will post more later.

Overall Review: ASUS tech support has been rather good; I hope they pull through. Paying for shipping isn't much fun... oh well.

Pros: 1. intel i5 dual core. super fast 2. 1tb drive partitioned into 2 drives , perfect for the home user. 3. very expandable ( but doesnt need it at all ) 4. Cheap as can be for a PC this FAST

Pros: Everything works as expected. Compact design means easy portability. One of the best looking pcs out there.

Cons: Asus customer service was nothing short of embarassing. What's the purpose of having no less than 10 different 800 numbers to call, if none of them are knowledgable. I was on the phone with multiple representatives, none knew anything about computers. Each one gave me a different made-up-on-the-spot answer to my question. I just shelled out hundreds for your product, the least you could do is provide me some simple information. Just as I was preparing to hunt down and strangle each representative, a buddy helped me out. There was a simple solution that anyone whose sole job it was to answer a phone about computers should have known.
