Never buying an ASUS again. 10/10/2018 12:24:56 PM

Pros: The computer itself is a decent gaming machine

Cons: The ASUS support is terrible. In the first month of owning this machine the keyboard went out. They wanted me to send it in with an estimated work period of 7-10 days, not including shipping. Now two months after purchasing the machine the hard drive is going out and they want me to send in the whole machine, not just the failing drive, with an estimated work period of 7-10 days, not including shipping. The best part is that they want me to pay for the shipping to repair their failing hardware....

Manufacturer Response:
Dear Brendon,

I am terribly sorry to hear about the issue that you have encountered with your desktop and that you are not pleased with our tech support. Our turn around time is to give the technicians an adequate amount of time to properly diagnose the unit and see if there are any underlying issues, have it repaired and then have it tested to ensure that it is in absolute proper working condition before it is sent back to you. This is done in order to reduce/eliminate the risk of the issue occurring again. Please provide me with your case or RMA number so that I can take a look at your contact with our tech support. We would love to work with you to ensure that this issue is resolved so that you can get to have the experience that we intended. You can email us at customerloyalty@asus.com and use the link to this review as a reference. I do look forward to your response and please have a wonderful day.

Thank you for choosing ASUS.

Best regards,
Abigail.

You pay for good quality, and this is it. 7/5/2018 9:49:42 PM

Pros: -Lighting is superior, the given software allows easy control of lighting and fan control/power output and OC capability.

-Although pricey, it's definitely a computer that I feel is worth the money you put into it. You're paying for high quality components like a powerful CPU(Overclocked at that already) and GPU, which is where most of the meat of the funds are placed anyway. You pay for what you get in other words, don't waste your time getting something cheaper than what you really want to run in the future. All in all, good bang for your buck

-Quiet mostly, even a mode for quiet fan settings. (See Cons for why mostly)

-Gaming is a breeze, all settings run on extreme/High. Only game I've had any issue with is Star Citizen, which isn't even optimized/let alone finished until who knows.

-Small enough tower for what I imagined and have used before.

-Comes with nice lit keyboard (Easy to see your keys in the dark)

-Comes with standard ASUS mouse, if you're looking for anything gaming related, this mouse isn't it. (guess you could say this is a pro and con)

-Comes with Wifi, pro for me at least since my last build didn't, although I'm mostly using a wired connection it's nice to be able to not have to use a Wireless Adapter for Wifi.

Cons: -Fan noise picks up when temps reach about 68 deg. C on the CPU if you're gaming hard. Can be noisy but it picks up, and cools down fast.

-Heavy tower. Don't let its small sized fool you, this thing is hefty, and awkward to move, but once it's down you at least know it's not moving anywhere.

-Even though the front cover to access the SSD slot is nice, it's honestly not that huge of a deal because normal people are probably not going to use that slot as much.

(I don't have much bad to say about any of the performance, nothing has been able to stop me from gaming or doing anything else to it's full potential and with lightning speed.)

Overall Review: I'm no amazing computer tech, but I know more than about what I'd say the average PC user would. So take my review or leave it, but this computer fits all of my needs. I just wanted something to last me more than what my older AMD setup did, and I feel like this overclocked i7 with a nice GPU will do the job. It looks nice, it's VR ready, and I have so many options to choose from in terms of power and style. I've been with it for a good week's time, and it's not showing any sign of letting me down. ASUS surely did their work right with this one, definitely going to return to purchase more from them.
