Does this have WiFi?

No I'm afraid it doesn't. However for 30-50 bucks you can get a good Ethernet card with wifi which I would do when you purchase this computer for the free shipping. Easily the best computer I've owned. I love it. Running duel Asus LED 23.6 monitors with any game I want so far like a champ at 60+ frames. Though I mostly use it for League of Legends. Good purchase.

Question 2

just bought the first time i turned it on nothing will show on the monitor. I know the monitor works because i tested it on a different computer. Is their any way to fix this?

Often this problem occurs simply because people plug the monitor into the motherboard on board video port instead of the video card. Make sure you plugged into the video card for sure. If you did, the next thing I would check is the BIOS to make sure the video card is "on". To enter the BIOS, just hit the delete key repeatedly when the computer is starting up (just be careful you don't change the computer's other settings wrong in the BIOS). I know these are very basic solutions but I'm not aware of your tech level. I hope I haven't insulted you inadvertently. If these things don't work you may have the RMA the computer.

Does this come with a monitor?

No, this is a desktop not an all in one. So no monitor or wireless card, you need to have a wired switch or router for Internet access.

Question 4

I can't seem to get my monitor to run on this computer.  I'm using DVI cables, cables are new and the monitor is fine.  Has anyone else encountered the same problem and found a solution?

Monitors hook up are fine, dvi or hdmi. I run 2 monitors and they are fine. Hooked up from the video card.

Can i purchase this exact Desktop but with Windows 7 instead of Windows 8?

I don't think this computer is available with Windows 7. However, despite it being difficult to navigate at first, Windows 8 is not the monster people make it out to be. I think if you purchased this computer and upgraded it to the more user friendly 8.1 you would be happy with it. It just takes a little extra time to learn. When you get stuck in any way, there is usually a help button to teach you how to do what you want. I also found the ASUS manual useful for learning the basic layout and operation of Windows 8.

I a looking to get a PC that will be able to run Elder Scrolls Online preferablly on Ultra settings, could anyone tell me if this is possibe with this pc?

I have not tried running the beta or the main game to answer your question with 100% accuracy. Currently I am able to run titanfall and AC 4 on max settings with this desktop and only experiencing a slight drop in frame rate during extremely intense action scenes. Looking at the suggest spec to run elder scroll online on ultra setting I can strongly suggest that you should not have any problem.  Hopes this help in making your decision

What is the maximum # of monitors I can run on this unit without adding another video card? I want the monitors to each display different images, not duplicate images.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with running several monitors that way. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. However, I can tell you that the video card is very good and more than capable of running at least 2 monitors because there are at least 2 HDMI ports on it and one DVI port that are capable of very high resolution over multiple monitors. As for different images, I don't know how to do that either, although I believe the Nvidia driver software is capable of setting that up. One thing I would worry about though, is the power supply not being strong enough to support an additional video card. Sorry I couldn't help more.

How do I enable the VGA port on the back?

You know what, I don't know... it's a really strange problem that it I had too because I plugged in my monitor with a vga cable and I thought it was broken, but then I tried a dvi cable with the same monitor and it worked.

I thought I'd have to set up vga but it didn't matter because dvi works fine (and having researched it, is better).

I'd end up using an hdmi cable if I wanted to put it on a tv, but if you figure it out I'd appreciate it if you relayed that to me. Thanks!

I really like the spec on this product but the reviews are awful.  Has the issues been looked into as I want to buy it but is worried that I will also receive a defected cpu?

Avoid this unit and ASUS. I am a knowledgeable PC owner and avid gamer. I purchased this model in November of 2013. On August 2nd my hard drive died. I talked to ASUS tech support since I was within their 1 year warranty. The unit took 5 weeks to get repaired. 5 weeks! The whole time the joke they call customer service gave me the run around and false promises of sending this issue up the ladder to get fixed. I never got contacted except for a bill for 50 dollars in labor for 5 weeks of work to replace a hard drive. I am currently waiting for it to arrive in the mail worried that this unit was handled poorly, will possibly arrive damaged from there poor packaging, or gets another problem soon. AVOID THIS UNIT AND ASUS PRODUCTS!
