Hi Cheryl, yes you can complete all normal functions of a computer on this specific computer. If you don't plan to game there are plenty of other options available at a lesser cost. This is intended for gaming in some fashion.

I don't know what you are looking to do to it, but I swapped the existing HDD for an ssd.  Works well.

does it come with a keyboard and mouse? also does it come with the chords to hook up? never ordered a computer online before

A USB mouse, a USB illuminated keyboard and a power cord are supplied with the ASUS G11CD-US51 computer.  The computer also is equipped with built in Wi-Fi to connect to a wireless router for internet access.  If your router or internet access point does not have Wi-Fi, you will need an RJ-45 Ethernet cable (not supplied) to connect to it.

What would the price be to upgrade to Windows 10 pro, 64-bit?

I don't think Newegg supports that so you would have to buy it and install that yourself and I think you can find win 10 pro anywhere from 20-200 lol not worth it at all in my eyes does the same thing as windows 10 for the most part

It is.  All you need is an HDMI cable to connect the computer to the monitor.

Only the gpu not the CPU, you have to download msi afterburner and use that look up a tutorial on YouTube about it if you're having troubles
