Can the graphics card be upgraded or is it set as is?

After doing some research, if you open the case, you will void the warranty as explained in the ASUS introduction film. However, there are a number of PC sites that will build the G20AJ to your spec's. Furthermore, I believe ASUS will be introducing a new model with the GTX 760 before the holidays. Does this item come with any Microsoft Office software?

It comes with a trial of Office which ran out i think in 90 days.....I purchased the yearly subscription after that.

What can 8GB SSD use for?

You are not directly using 8GB SSD but system uses for faster HDD performance. I have used this computer for work, streaming movies and minor game play for about 6 months now, so far no issue.  Its great machine with style.

What Backpacks will this unit fit into? I hate lugging this guy over to lan parties in a card board box.

Look at the dimensions. It is actually fairly heavy also when you grab all the wires and power source. (not to mention the monitor and keyboard if you are bringing that along) Even with that being said I have no problem walking around my apartment with this thing. I think it might fit into one of those really big military style or camping backpacks.

If you want mobile PC gaming you might want to get a laptop. I bought this on sale which justified the price for me and the small size lets me fit it into a shelf instead of having a big tower.

Is the video card that comes with this a good solid card?  Reliable?

We have been using it as a professional work station desk top replacement in our conference room (had some size restraints).
We are using live 3D animation software and have not had any issue with this card. It's not a very high end gamer card, but it will get the work done.

Is it possible to replace the graphics card with a new gtx 1080?

I'm not completely certain but I know you could put in a 970 and think the dimensions are similar. It has to be a reference edition with the internal fan that blows out the back, not the ones with big fans on the side

With the dual PSU (two laptop style power supplies) you can upgrade to a reference design (black and silver design with a single fan that blows hot air out of the back of the card) GTX 980. By purchasing a 330W laptop style power supply to upgrade the dual PSU you can upgrade to a GTX 980Ti.

Also, the 780 is NOT better than the 980. The 780 is good but the 980 is much better. Especially with newer games.

Can i Play 4K Games on this PC ?

I am not sure if you can play 4K games but you would want to stay away from this PC.  The configuration is terrible.  The box is small and everything is jammed up inside, the video card is close to the hard drive.  They use c*** hard drives inside and because it's all so tight it gets hot, then the hard drive fails.  I have had my hard drive fail twice.  The first time after 3 months I sent it back and they replaced it (with another **** hard drive).  My hard drive just failed again and I didn't bother sending it back, I replaced it with a solid state hard drive on my own.  Don't waste your money on this machine.

Can I run 6 monitors on this pc/card?  Or will I need to upgrade?

The system in not very upgrade-able. (small form factor box).  This system is built specifically to be more like game console.  If you are looking for a system to upgrade over time I would choose a full size tower.  With that said, the video card is a full size version on riser card.  There are two ports for DVI on the back to support 2 monitors.

I was wondering how good this computer can run games, also I wanted to know how many cores it has. Because the desc on the title says "i7 3.6GHz" so could you tell me how this preforms please?

The i7-4790 is a quad core processor with HyperThreading which allows it to run two instructions per clock/core so to Windows it appears to have 8 cores. The processor is great for gaming but the GTX 760 in this configuration will not be able to maintain high frames per second at high details for more demanding games. You can expect close to PS4/Xbox One graphics quality with some compromises unless you purchase a model with a better video card or upgrade (and void the warranty) the video card yourself.
