Pros: Fast. How fast? The new Doom @ 5760 x 1080 with ultra quality settings and averaging 100 FPS. Fantastic for a single card solution.
Cons: Price. Paying the premium for the stock card is always horrid.
Overall Review: I upgraded from a pair of GTX 770's in SLI for my triple screen setup, and have been blown away at how strong this card performs over the SLI'd 770's. For people with 9 series cards, I'm not sure it's worth the money. But 7 series or lower, this single card rules. Eventually, a second 1080 will be added, but for now, I'm enjoying the performance of the single card.
Pros: Blazing Fast stable 2.1ghz on air! no voltage change either FE edition blows the heat out of my case and does not heat up my other internal components Easy set up and install Super easy to OC Heavy well built card Incredible Gaming Performance
Cons: Asus continues to drop the ball on its bonuses, still cant get my free software, Spoke to customer support and they were no help. Card runs a little louder and hotter than after market ones when at load, Its not that obnoxious and there is no whine but I prefer this style gpu cooling so I expected it. Expensive as hell Hard to get for the time being
Overall Review: I would absolutely recommend this card to anyone who can afford it.
Pros: Runs everything out there with no issues and looks great
Cons: Isn't cheaper but it's worth the loot
Pros: Card is rock solid at 2.1 ghz and a +500 mhz on the memory. Does better on one 8 pin then a lot of the board partner cards. Max everything I've thrown at it @ 1440p at ease
Cons: If I had to really nitpick I could say the reference cooler is a bit loud but not obscene. Yes I did pay $100 more for it
Overall Review: 6200 Valley Bench Score. :D GO FAST OR GO HOME!
Pros: Nice look. Very fast. Quiet. Very slick green LED on side that says Geforce GTX 1080 that looks amazing with my H100i cpu pump set to the same color. Best upgrade performance wise.
Cons: You only get the card. No adapters, swag, and anti static protection. Very cheaply packaged once you open up the box. For a card that's cost this much I would demand more accessory and adapters included with it and or free games. A ship and 15 days premium for world of warships is a slap in the face for this price. I would give this a 5 star if the packaging didn't feel so cheep.
Overall Review: I upgraded from two 970's in sli to this card and saw a 30 to 50% performance boost. Very happy with upgrading. I would suggesting getting another brand like evga or msi as they include more in the box. The packaging is much more satisfactory on evga and msi to allow you to resell the card without having to rip part of the plastic that holds the card in place to remove it from the box. When I saw that my impression was "how cheap" "why wouldn't they just use an anti static bag". The way asus packed it you have to rip the cardboard when removing the glued plastic that holds the card down. It's going to be harder to resell this and make it look like the day I bought it like I did my two msi 970s. They looked brand new when I resold them for 200 each thanks to the way msi packaged the card's.
Pros: It's a nuclear weapon at 1080p, 4K performance is impressive 50-60s in GTA, Witcher 3, and Doom can't wait to see what it can with some overclocking.
Cons: Still not the final solution for gaming 4K at max settings comes pretty close though
Pros: Very fast on all AAA titles. Almost a perfect single-card solution for 2560x1600 at 60Hz with all graphics settings at maximum. Blower cooler design doesn't add to heat level inside case as much as other designs. Fan is quiet up to 70% speed (I set it manually before starting a game) which is enough to keep the card hovering around 69-72 C (not overlocked) at 100% load in FarCry 4 at 2560x1600 w/all graphics options at max. Solidly built card with lots of metal. It is heavy, much like the GTX 690 was (similar cooling design look and feel). 3 year warranty for parts and labor.
Cons: Price (it's the Founders Edition), but we knew that. Above 70% fan speed the noise level increases enough to be heard easily which might be distracting unless you use headphones or turn speaker volume up. Cooling may not quite be as good as other non-reference designs, but see "other" below.
Overall Review: Incredible upgrade from a GTX 690: Sorry buddy, you used to be the best for me, but 4 years is a long time in the video card industry and 2 GB video memory isn't enough any more for today's games. The level of cooling provided by the blower design might not be as good as other (non-reference) designs, such as EVGA AC3 or Asus STRIX, but less heat is exhausted inside the case which could be helpful for those cases with less-than-ideal airflow or for SLI setups. To Marc C. reviewer below: The ASUS packaging is fine. If you read the instructions printed on the packing cardboard, you just have to unfold the flaps and the plastic sheeting holding the card is released from tension, allowing you to remove the card easily without ripping the cardboard or plastic sheeting. Sure, the packing is cheap as a cost-cutting measure, but it is effective and fully ESD compliant. Sealed Air Corporation makes good packing materials. I had no need for accessories so cannot comment on the lack of them. I have not seen how other brands are packaging their cards so cannot compare.

Pros: All games can be run at max settings
Cons: price gouging by 3rd party retailers (culprit on newegg is OuletPC)
Overall Review: I set the title of this review to the actual product as I've noticed on newegg's mobile app they lump reviews for all versions of the gtx 1080 together. So if you're looking at MSI's or EVGA's, then you see this review that was created by clicking myself after clicking on the ASUS version, we'll have confirmation on this grouping practice (which I personally do not agree with). The biggest issue though is with OuletPC. The suggested retail price is $699.99, but between manufacturing cycles they offer the product at $849.99. This practice is bad for the market and bad for Nvidia, is it reduces their product getting actual customer's hands. When marketing and pricing departments contribute to their company's annual sales forecast, it's done at an assumed price. Raising prices beyond what the market will tolerate leads to diminishing returns. The product's available price raises by ~22%, but then sales fall by 70%. This practice is short sighted and Nvidia really should position itself to not let this continue.
