What kind of PSU would this take?

This card has no additional power connections, therefore it receives it power from the card slot. PSU selection would be more on the processor and # of drives.

Question 2

This card is a single slot, but the cooler is sizeable. If placed in the pcie x16 slot on a micro-atx board, will it block any of the other slots? I'm looking to replace my GeForce 550 ti with this, but I only want to do so if it will net me an extra expansion slot in the process.

Yes/no...  Depends what you want to put in the adjacent slot.  I was able to get an Asus pcie wi-fi adapter in the adjacent slot because it was very short.  Still I had to nip a little plastic from the shroud to make it fit comfortably.  Any longer card would not work.

I have a rather old build and am wondering if this will be compatible with an ASUS P5N32-E SLI motherboard with a memory standard DDR2 800?

Does this card only require one slot?

In a technical sense yes it only uses 1 expac slot; that being said the fan on mine covers the slot below it so that slot is useless for me. Make sure you can space it over a 1x slot to maximize your space.

Will this card fit in a HP DC7900 CMT?  It looks a little long but cannot tell from picture.  If it is I will have to get a dual-slot card and trim it up.

Well, I ordered one for another computer and while I still had it I checked it and it will fit.  Pretty tight clearance but nothing was touching.  Now I just need NVIDIA Maxwell GPU support in Mac OS, hopefully with an update soon.

Will this work with a 300W PSU, or will that be pushing the bottle over the edge?

I don't know. It is powered by the bus only. No separate power connection. Due to the limited power available on the bus it may.

Hello, I was just wondering if this could replace my GeForce GT 610, I'm looking for a better graphics card. Also will this fit in any tower? I have a thermaltake commander.

If it can replace your GT 610 would depend on your motherboard and PSU, however most likely it can. I have never had a gt 610 but most likely it uses a PCI-e connector which the GTX 750 uses as well. The GTX 750 is also really low on power draw as it needs no PCIe PSU connectors, and generally uses only 30-50 watts. As for fitting in any tower it does depend on tower size, but this GTX 750 is really small compared to most video cards so should fit fine.

What wattage power supply does this card require?

My 430 watt power supply was not enough to run this at full power. Yes, it worked, but it was under-powered. I recommend at least a 500 or 550 watt power supply, if not a little more. Basic power supply units can be pretty cheap and I ended up swapping out my 430 PSU for a 750 PSU just to be safe.

is this card compatible or does it require a directx11 install?

This card is compatible with any motherboard that has a PCI express slot on it. Directx11 is a graphics API that is used to render games in, not a compatibility standard for if you can use it in your computer or not. As for a Directx11 install, not sure what you are asking, you will need to install the latest direct X to play games but most game installers come with it so it shouldn't be an issue.
