Does this card need power from the motherboard or do you need to get the cable that goes from the power supply to the card?

It gets it's power from your motherboard, but you have to make sure your power supply has enough horsepower. The minimum of 300 watts just isn't enough.

Looks like the motherboard should accommodate it without any problem. The video card is not any bigger than the normal gaming card, although some of them can be pretty big.  The MB you list has the PCI Video slot in the Center of the board which should make life easy. (My old Dell has the PCIE at base of the board, and it barely fits).  The other question is cases layout.  You can always cut a piece of wood strap to the dimensions of the card and see how the case takes the card.

I have the same MB with a less powerful A10-5700 processor.  The question you should be asking is that your processor already has a fast GPU, this probably won't give you that much more of a boost.  My WEI score was 6.9 then only moved to 7.2 after card was installed.  The card is awesome though, and it takes the load off the APU to allow super fast gaming and multitasking without throttling the A10.

Absolutely. I bought this as well as a corsair 500 power supply and tried to see if it could run ok without the new power supply. I was wrong. Got nowhere near the potential oit od my video card as compared when I put it all together. Beck it took me like 3 times to boot the computer properly on the old 300 watt one. Buying this card with a regular power supply is like trying to run a complicated offense without any pointgaurd. (Hopefully you're an NAB fan)

I am not sure I purchased the card for my 7 year old son as I was building him his first gaming computer. He lives out of state so I don't use the computer. Sorry I would love to have been able to  give you a better answer.

I believe this card recommends a 400w power supply. I have never seen a 7750 recommend more than a 450w, and often you can get away with shaving 50w off of that recommendation.  It is possible that it might run just fine on your 300w, but that is a risk I personally would be unwilling to take. This is however a very good card at a very reasonable price, and about the fastest card you can buy that doesn't require any power beyond the PCI socket.

The ASUS HD7750 draws all of its power from from the PCIe 3.0 connector on your motherboard.  You don't connect to the power supply directly.  I'm using a 600W power supply, but only because I plan on using dual cards in the future.  The specs don't specify what the power requirements are, but if you are only going to use one card then you should be ok.  But, you should still go for a larger power supply if want dual cards.

The ASUS RADEON HD7750 VIDEO CARD is a very decent card and plays the SIMMS GAMES and others very well. However, I had to remove the WIFI card from under the video card. The HD7750 video card is almost twice the thickness of my 9400 GTS GEFORCE CARD. Your 9500GS IS SIMILAR IN THICKNESS  to my former 9400GTS CARD. You will have to move whatever card that is under the RADEON 7750. MOSTLY because the fan faces down very close to the next card under it. I'm hoping you have other slots on your motherboard.

i'm not entirely sure what you're trying to ask, but if you have a desktop with that cpu and you're wondering about compatibility.. if your mother board has a pciex16 slot and you have a power supply with enough power than that video card should work just fine.

I'm amusing this card would run on my 300w power supply? but My motherboard says Supports PCI Express x16 graphics cards. Is a 3.0 compilable with I'm assuming I have a 1.0?

Johnny,
Due to the fact that this video card does not require any additional power from the power supply, I assume it has a very low power requirement.  All the power is taken from the motherboard.  Therefore, my guess is that it will work on your system.  If it requires more than your 300 watt PS will supply then you can buy a 500 watt Corsair PS for not much money.
HP does not use proprietary power supply so that should work if you are forced to.
