Question 1

Since it doesn't come with a recovery disk, can one create one fairly easily?

Yes you can easily create a recovery disk, and you should.  Windows backup has an excellent procedure that will create a system image copying the C drive and the essential hidden Sys partition.   My own method is to ignore and ultimately remove the Asus backup.   I do a windows system image early on to an external drive and also create a rescue disk.   >>I suggest you also create another system image after you have setup and installed all your programs and transfered data. [no need to do another rescue disk]  Either put it on a different external drive or RENAME the first image as Windows will overwrite all system images.  >>I use Win image backup thereafter to preserve all the work that goes into setup, as I never want to do that again, so for me a recovery disk as shipped is quickly useless but system images have saved the bacon many times when there has been disk failure or virus or other problems

Question 2

So the graphics card seems to be integrated.  Would i be able to replace this if it is a desktop?

I haven't tried it on this specific computer. Still, I have bought graphics cards for many other computers with "integrated graphics" (i.e., graphics provided on the mother board). This works fine and is very standard. In fact, don't almost all motherboards these days have  integrated graphics?

In short, you can't literally replace it, but you can add one and plug your monitor into the added one instead of the integrated one.

This PC has PCIe slots available, so you should be good to go with just about any PCI express card.

Is the Windows 7 Home Premium that comes with this PC 64 bit?

Yes it is so be aware that some older hardware such as scanners and printers may no be compatible. My old Epson flat panel scanner was not and Epson doesn't support it at 64 bit. Had to buy a new scanner.

Does this computer support dual monitors? What kind of monitor ports does it have?

Yes it supports dual monitors.
The specs page on the newegg site gives you most of what you need to know and if you look at the picture of the back of the pc you can see that it has multiple ports for monitors.

Does this computer support dual monitors?

I'm honestly not sure, I got this for a friend of mine who's pc died, he only uses it for office, internet and email,  and doesn't have the desk room for two monitors, so we never tried, however if by some chance it doesn't, I know they make USB to DVI adapters and USB to VGA I have a few of them for work, and they work great.

Is there a way to get CDs with Windows and Drivers? Is there a cost for the installation disks?

I asked the same question and was told by a NewEgg tech that you can get these from Microsoft for a small fee, if you want (about $10 for a Win7 installation disk).  As far as drivers, you should be able to simply download them from the manufacturer of the device you're trying to install if Win7 does not automatically recognize the device and install its driver.

Does this really have Windows 7 Home Premium as the operating system?

Yes it does with Service Pack 1 works great highly recommend this computer, fast and easy set up.

Does this PC have DVD & CD r/w drives?  And how many and what type USB ports?

There are a mix of USB 2 and USB 3 ports.  There is a single DVD drive that hides behind a motorized cover plate.  Will only open when the PC is powered.  No room for a second DVD drive.

Yep, it does! It's a bit hidden ( I didn't notice it at first and accidentally bought an external CD/DVD drive), but it's beneath the USB hubs and above the ASUS logo.

Can I get this computer with a Nvidia graphics card?

These computers come pre-assembled with with a specific set of components, and are sold to the public as is.  The computer has a graphic card that can be easily replaced with the one you desire.  However, you will need to purchase the Nvida graphics card and have it installed by someone who knows how to do the installation.
