says on description page comes with keyboard and mouse... does it?

Yup it does. Some have complained about it not being up to par to a gaming mouse/keyboard but for normal every day use its great. Perhaps some gaming would be fine with it but the keyboard wouldn't be that friendly for certain games like WOW for example with many many key binds etc. But for Battlefield it would be ok.

Question 2

I just bought this computer and I it works great and all, but it is kind of loud even when its at idle. I own a Dell PC desktop for office purposes and its completely silent. I was wondering if this is normal for this PC since its a gaming PC or is it suppose to be completely silent as well?

The cooling fans on mine are also fairly loud, not terrible, but noticeable.  I attribute it to the higher/hotter processing aspect (gaming).  You can turn the fans down via software.  If it's bothering you I would recommend just buying some new fans and replacing them.  They are fairly cheap and you can't really screw anything up by doing this.  If you increase the blade diameter you can cool it just as much and lower the rpm, which should  cut down on the noise.  Good luck.

I haven't tried, but I'm sure you can get two monitors working on this bad boy. With the power I'm getting right now, I'm sure it would be able to handle two monitors.

Question 4

Is the video card a typo? 3gb? I couldn't find a  gtx 760 that is 3gb everyone of them is 2gb. Why is that?

Yes, there is 3 GB of RAM on the video card.  I verified it on my system.  I believe the reason is that it was a special build for ASUS by NVIDIA.  Sometimes manufacturers will do special builds for other companies.

I think I had searched it before and found that reason online.

Question 5

Recently purchased this computer and when trying various monitors I get a no input error. What might be the issue?

Just found a solution to this: The VGA/upper HDMI outputs won't function. You need to use the HDMI output located at the bottom of the PC. VGA will not work.

Question 6

I was wondering what size monitor I should use for this desktop. And does it have to be a monitor made by Asus?

Unfortunately, this does not come with a monitor, however, I honestly think that is a good thing. You wouldn't want a lower end monitor for this PC. I recommend something with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 20" or more if your space allows. I went with the Samsung S20D300H 20" monitor, was decently priced, and does its job quite well.

The spec sheet says max RAM is 8GB, is that really true?  That seems low to me for a newer PC.

Yes. It has 8GB. But I play a lot of games and constantly have a lot of programs running and they all run smooth and fine. I am looking to upgrade but you have to buy two sticks of 8GB ram to do so because the motherboard only has two ram slots.

Anyone knows whether win8.1 the computer pre-installed can be downgraded to win7?

The wln8.1 updates to win10 easily but I have not tried downgrading to win7 Good luck!!

Would this be good for games like the crew and is the boot up time moderate?

boot up time is pretty quick but thats all biased. It plays battlefield 4 with no issues so take that as you will. I have also played starcraft 2 on ultra settings playing 4v4 with end game not lagging.
