I only see 3 usb ports on the back, not the 6 specified.   plus none of them appear to be 3.0 ports.

You are correct - only 3 in the back and 3 in front.  There are 4 ports on the front but one may be a 3.0 (I don't know how a 3.0 is different than a 2)

we purchased this computer to use at our church on 5/20 and installed it...sound worked fine, but ran a video through Easy Worship and the sound stopped working and hasn't come on since....we have re-installed sound card drivers from the disk and still not working? Any suggestions?

SSDs do not really need an expansion bay.  They're solid state--if you don't have an available bay in which to install an SSD adaptor, just let the SSD hang loose or rest on some safe place in your machine.  Stay away from fans!

This seems like a great deal but somewhat scary in a sense. The processor and graphics card are phenomenal but the 16 gigs of ram seems overload. Only other concerns would be the power supply for sure. No way this thing is under 300w of power. Other than buying a better PS, would this be overall worth buy for minimal personal use and heavy gaming?

My previous custom built machine had 8 gigs, and honestly, I can't say that 16 gigs on this desktop blew my mind away. But I am still able to open multiple browser tabs, run Photoshop, and MS office applications without any noticeable delays. I tried "the Assassins" game, and it worked just fine although I am not a hard core gamer, and never intended to use this desktop as a gaming machine.

Overall, it seems to be performing reasonably well, but you might want to make a few upgrades: ssd, power supply etc.
