Would this bridge work with connecting two Asus ROG Strix 1080ti's?

Yes, but make sure you getting the correct size for your layout. There is a 3 slot version and a 4 slot version. To determine the version you need, look at the back of your case and count the number of PCI slots between the to of your first card and the top of the second card. Another way is to see how much space is between the two cards: if there's one empty PCI slot between the cards, get the 3 slot version; if there's two empty slots, get the 4 slot version.

Alright, I picked up a second Strix 980 ti on the cheap. Using this bridge, could I set up them up in a SLI configuration?
