Does this monitor have a VESA compatible mount point?

I have my monitor on the included stand, not on a VESA mount. But to add a bit of specificity to the other answers:  On my monitor, there are four bolts that hold the monitor to the stand. The bolts are in a 100 mm X 100 mm square (Wikipedia suggests this might be a VESA "Part MIS-D"). I didn't measure the bolts themselves, but to my eye, they could likely be M4, which would also conform to the VESA standard.

What is so special about this monitor; what justifies it's higher price here, or do you all just kind of like paying more?

I'd like to use this display as a second monitor on a iMac Retina 5K.

Will the DisplayPort cable work with the Thunderbolt-2 output of the iMac and will this connection provide full 4K - 60 Hz resolution-refresh?  Thanks.

This monitor has both a dedicated thunderbolt and display Port you can use. I use a thunderbolt to display port cable adapter with my 2015 Macbook Pro. With this setup, I can run full 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate no problem. The iMac should be no different.

Question 4

I currently own 3x ASUS VN279Q 27" 1080p monitors. And one of the great features about those monitors, is the bezels are very, very thin. I'd like to know if this monitor's bezel is thicker than that, or the same width?

Hey Hunter,

The bezel on your monitors are 8mm thick while on this one it's 9mm thick. So just to be clear, the bezel on this 4K monitor is 1mm thicker than on the VN279Q.
