Does the refurb version come with the display port cable?

Yes, the refurbished version I bought came with a power cable and a display port cable. Has been running strong for over a month with no problems. That being said I still bought the warranty.

Is the packaging of this unit still intact with no missing items in it?

Mine was complete.  I love it, even in desktop mode, set it to 144hz and mouse stutter is gone!  I've had it over a year, saved a bundle.  Still working great!  If I had room and money to spare i'd get the Acer Predator though, that is the future of monitors.

Has anyone had to RMA or send back their refurbished monitor? I order the refurbished version and I am a little nervous!

I purchased mine just a few weeks ago and it is and has been almost flawless. No dead pixels, no light bleed. It did ship with a Displayport to Mini Displayport which will not plug into my card, and the mood light won't turn on (which doesn't affect much as I would turn it off anyway)

Hi! I see that this seems to be the Asus ROG PG278Q but your item description says PG278Q-X, why? I want to buy this monitor but I'm worried it's the wrong monitor and you've labeled it wrong!

this is the refurbished version, which explains the price.  this is one those that are sold when in stock.  this is what i bought have not had any problems with it.
