Question 1

Is this a good monitor for both gaming as well as everyday use? I'm trying to find a good dual purpose monitor solution. Also would a Single 11GB GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founder's Edition GPU be able to drive this monitor at it's full potential?

For everyday use, of course.  It's a beast of a monitor, and looks great with video and regular use.   I have a Titan V and can run games like PUBG at full 4K on Ultra settings and get 90 - 150 FPS steady.  I'm over 100 FPS 95% of the time.  That said, a 2080 Ti FE isn't going to be as strong as my Titan V.  Depending on your CPU (I have an 8700K with 64 GB of RAM) I would guess you'll be above 60 FPS no problems, and occasionally hit 100.  Of course it also depends on your in-game settings.  I know you didn't ask about PUBG specifically, but that's pretty much all I plan, so it's all I can answer.  The big question is, is this monitor worth $2,000 USD?  Well, I mean if you want to game at true 4K and hit over 100 FPS, and you have the disposable cash, then yes...yes it is.  I have not regretted my purchase at all!

Which 4K 144Hz should I go with? ASUS PG27UQ or Acer X27? Also, which one has better quality control? Lastly, will GTX 1080 Ti be powerful enough to drive 144fps in 2160P resolution, regardless game engine and graphics quality?

For some games even 60fps at 4k is not a possibility on 10xx cards, partly because the design of the engine prevents the game from scaling to that resolution at all. For example, even a sli setup fails to hit 60 at 4k in older assassin's Creed titles, while the newest ones run ok.

Some modern titles like gta5, mgs5, watch dogs 2 run at/above 60 on a 1080 at 4k so they should run good on a ti. You're not going to get 144 at anything other than minimum quality settings, but I encourage you to try out 60-80fps with gsync turned on. It feels great.

Historically every manufacturer's 4k gsync panels have bad qc but having owned panels from both manufacturers, Acer's warranty support is miserable so I recommend Asus.

Hi guys, although I come from 1080P TN Monitor, do you guys think I should upgrade to 4k 144hz IPS Monitor in terms of clarity and fluidity? Also, how's the quality control? No IPS glow, no halo effect, no backlight bleeding, fan noise quiet, compared to Acer X27? Last but not least, is it also perfect time to jump from 1080P to 4k resolution for enhancing image quality such as NVIDIA Shadowplay, viewing text on Windows Desktop, less jaggy edges in video games, watching movies in 4k, etc.? And lastly, can it run HDR mode on 4k 144hz?

It all depends on what you want. i bought this monitor because i wanted the best of the best and i can say that's exactly what i got. The image quality is the best I've seen and the HDR is amazingly bright yet dark where it needs to be. and yes it does HDR in 4k at 144hz. although no system to date is powerful enough to push games that allow HDR anywhere close to a consistent 144fps on reasonable settings. But this monitor is for future proofing in my eyes, because i know ill upgrade my hardware so this monitor will last me many years. And the fan noise i dont even notice at all. idk if some people got a bad one or something but i didnt notice there was a fan until i came back to look at reviews. and plus if youre a gamer i expect you'd probably have headphones on so you wouldnt hear it anyways and the fan i expect only comes on during games that youre running in 4k HDR 144hz. So no need to really worry about the fan there. But yea, it's all about what you want. if you want to just switch to 4k HDR and don;t care about the 144hz option then id go for a lower option, but if you want the best of everything then this is best option you can get by far. I'm actually selling my other 3 monitors, one being 4k hdr 60hz, another 2k 165hz ips, and another 1080p 180hz, because this thing is just that good. There's no use in having another monitor if you got this one. But just make sure you have at least a gtx 1080 and a good cpu just to be able to get some of what you pay for. And like i mentioned, only buy this monitor if you plan on upgrading your hardware in your pc later on so you can actually utilize it's power.

Looks like the release date has changed to 7-13-18. Is that for people who order from now on? Or everyone?

I preordered on 5/29.  Previously it said 6/22.  Now mine shows 7/13  as well.  During that period it appeared they did not allow anymore preorders and now they are.   I hope this date is for this second wave of preorders.

Is it worth it to buy ASUS PG27UQ to replace 1920 x 1080 Monitor? Also, does PG27UQ have faster response time than Acer Predator X27 Monitor?

My opinion, YES! It is worth the buy. This monitor is Super Fast. This monitor has a faster response time than the Acer X27 going by research/ reviews. The Acer X27 is a little better calibrated though. I'm running an EVGA 2080ti KingPin with the monitor. Make sure you get a good graphics card to pair with the monitor and you will be very happy with your purchase.

Can it run at 10-bit color bit depth while running 3840 x 2160 @144Hz refresh rate?

This monitor isn't 10-bit color. It is 8-bit + FRC. But you only get HDR in 4:4:4 @98Hz. Anything over that is reduced to 4:2:2. But SDR is 4:4:4 all the way up to 144Hz.
