Question 1

Does it come with an SD Card reader? Does it have GPS capability?

Accepted Answer

Yes the microSD slot is on the side. I don't think there is GPS capability for it

Question 2

What is the memory configuration inside? This says the max supported memory is 12 GB, but it comes with 8 GB installed. I can't see any 6 GB chips for sale on NewEgg so I'm wondering if there's room for 3 sticks of memory inside (4GB each) and only 2 are used, or are there only 2 slots and because you can't really buy 2, 6GB chips you're effectively stuck at 8 GB.

Accepted Answer

It comes with two 4GB chips, but only one is replaceable. It can be swapped out for an 8GB chip, so the maximum configuration would be 4GB and 8GB, resulting in a total of 12GB.
