This would be perfect if it came with a 4k display. As is, its' hamstrung. Why is it you can't seem to find a combination of 7th gen i7 7820HK, 32+GB RAM, 8GB GDDR5X GeForce 1080GTX and a good 4k display? is there some weird power cap being hit that doesn't allow that combo?

Not a great answer, but 17.3” FHD 1920x1080 G-SYNC Display, 120Hz refresh rate, 178° Viewing angles probably and IPS panel and only one GTX 1080 so if they want you to get close to 120FPS then the 1080 would be the max resolution for most games to get even close to that. These G701VI builds feel like FPS and other fast paced gaming setup and is tuned for that. 4k 60hz is not the best FPS gaming monitor.
