What is the condition of this refurbished computer? Like if there are any chips in the side of the computer?

I haven't noticed any markings anywhere on the machine.  It looks brand new.  Works great!

what is the difference between retail and this refurbished one? is it has some kind of problem?

There are a number of reasons it could have been refurbished. It could have had a faulty part, cracked screen, a scratch on the case, or returned under warranty for some reason. However, this model is factory refurbished meaning that ASUS has repaired any problems and verified that all the parts are working good as new (it comes with a 90 day warranty as well). Only other difference is this doesn't come in retail packaging.

Does this include an OS? Windows 8 is shown in the picture but not mentioned in description.

I think these are returned for some sort of malfunction or hardware damage but the company replaces the affected parts and sells them, essentially, brand new again for a sweet deal.  I couldn't see any blemishes at all.  Looks brand spankin new.

Yes, it includes a Nvidia 860m. Not sure why they didn't include that in the description since it's pretty much the biggest selling point of this laptop.
