Hi,

Could someone clarify if this board has wifi?  I  can't see anything under the specs tab or on Asus website, but Newegg's summary of features has it listed.

Question 2

Does this board still have those audio pop + DPC latency issues? I am currently using the z170mx gaming 5 Gigabyte, and I cant play online games without huge pops in audio resulting in fps drops. I need a replacement, but the boards for MATX 1151 are scarce.

I have been very unhappy with the onboard SupremeFX audio chipset on this board.   The audio has an very low output level, which requires considerably more amplification than should be required.  As a result, the audio has high noise, and overall sounds terrible.  However, my biggest complaint is the fact is the lack of audio on boot or return from sleep.  About 70% of the time I have absolutely no output from the audio chipset on boot, and never after being awoke from sleep.  Overall it's terrible, and I cannot recommend this board because of it.

Will this motherboard fit my cooler master?

This is a micro ATX motherboard. It will fit in almost any box except specialty boxes. You do not mentions which box you have or exactly what you wish it to fit as Cooler Master makes many products. 
Be aware this board is designed for small cases and does not have the expansions slots nor memory slots a fuel ATX board has space for. 
If small and powerful is what you want this is a great board.

Does the M.2 support PCI Express 3.0, specifically NVMe?

Yup!! It's an M.2 Socket 3 type M. It has both PCIE3.0 x4 mode @ 32 Gbps, and sata mode. This is a great mobo and I've enjoyed every day I've owned it! I gotta say it's a pretty loaded mAtx board!

Question 5

It shows this board runs the PCIe 3.0x16 slots at x16 and x8*2 if running two GPUs. Can anyone confirm? I wish it would run both at x16 but can't find one in the smaller form factor. Thank you.

That is correct. The board does only support 1 @ x16, or 2 @ x8 each. If you look into the number of lanes that 6th gen CPUs put out,which is 20, you wouldn't be able to support 2 @ x16 anyways. It's a great board none-the-less and meant for a great CPU, 980 ti or TitanX, to really keep the high quality yet simple build

the motherboard is compatible with 2 DIMM Corsair Vengeance CMK16GX4M2B3000C15? It is compatible with 4 DIMM Corsair Corsair Vengeance CMK8GX4M2B3200C16R?

Check out Asus' website for a list of DIMMs that were tested on this board.  Asus has a qualified vendor list for memory modules that their engineering department specifically tested.

I personally went with 2666 and they worked just fine.

Question 7

How do I connect the board's USB 3.0 header to the case's ports? Does the board or case have a cable for that?

It is the responsibility of the case to provide that connection.
If the case has a usb3.0 front panel output, it should also provide the connecting cable.

Does this motherboard support SLI @ PCIE x16 3.0. ie: If running two GPU's will they run at their maximum bandwidth possible??

No, no 1151 boards technically support this. There are only 16 lanes supported directly by the processor. The Z170 chipset can support something around 20 PCIe 3.0 lanes, but these are aggregated as the chipset itself only has the DMI 3.0 link to the CPU, which equates to about 4 lanes of PCIe 3.0. Boards that claim to support dual video cards at x16/x16 on Z170 are lying (somewhat). The cards may see those lanes, but if they try to use all of them at once, they will hit a bottleneck somewhere - typically in a multiplexer chip on the board.

That said, this board doesn't have that to my knowledge, so it should present dual cards with x8/x8 in SLI. x8 is still quite sufficient for any graphics workloads and shouldn't cause any problems at all.

Question 9

Mine arrived in good condition but with no "tape seal" on the box, is this normal?

I would say no, for mine came with a tape seal over the tongue flap. Double check that you didn't purchase an Open Box or Refurbished motherboard, and double check that all the parts supposed to be included are in fact included. The manual will give you an Included Parts List, and if you have everything and it runs great, then you're good to go. Even the packaging people make mistakes from time to time. And missing a single sticker by accident is alright by my books, as long as everything works, is present, and no signs of tampering. I love this mobo btw, so I hope you can enjoy it as I do!

Question 10

How many watts/amps can be provided by the USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 ports?

Not sure, but I'm sure it is below 1 amp since my phone reports"Slow charging" even though my 1 amp charger is also slow.
Invest in an external USB hub, specifically with a power adapter.
