Is this compatible with a liquid CPU cooler?

Yes.  The mobo has a water pump connector on the board.  And I wouldn't see any space issues at all - the ram and SLI setup is far enough away from the chip to do pretty much any cooling system you want.

Hello, I noticed in the specifications for this board that the supported memory frequency for all the speeds but the lowest is marked with (OC). I understand this means the board can handle these frequencies if overclocked, but my question is how difficult would it be to set it to run these frequencies?

The board is very easy to set XMP. If it directly if the overclocking performance is important in memory. How much better depends on whether overclocking memory. Over the memory it belongs to the very easy. Although not easy, but it is stable.

LOL actually, funny thing - I was confused when I purchased it as well. 
Turns out, Whetstone is just the mousepad it comes with.

I can't post links here, but look up 'asus whetstone' on google. The first link will most likely be a link to Asus. Its just the material of the mousepad. I'm using it now - its nice - but really confusing why it came with the MOBO.

Mine came with the Asus ROG Gladius, a claimed 65 dollar value. It seems like a quality mouse, with ergonomics similar to what you'd find in a Razer. Comes with extra feet and extra replacement switches.

I happily switched out my old G5 for it.

The operating system is 32 bit or 64 bit. The motherboard is neither. However, regardless of if your version of windows is 32 bit or 64 bit this will work.

Yes it does.  Depending on bios version u may need to flash it.  Instruction manual has the info on how to do it and it is easy enough.
