Pros: This board has a nice layout, only complaint would be one of the usb 3 internal headers faces towards the window side and is right beside the front panel connector Looks are subjective, but to me this is easily one of the best looking Z390 boards out there Easy setup, well detailed manual Armoury Crate is a nice touch, helps you easily get your drivers after initial Windows install Completely quiet and cool VRM area, even under extended stress testing Bios is user friendly, easy to navigate Overclocking exceeded my expectations, took my I9-9900k to 5.1ghz all core at 1.30 volts with just a couple keystrokes The Supreme FX audio sounds crisp and clean with no distortion, cracks or noise The argb headers at the top and bottom of the board make it easier to connect and plan out your lighting Completely 100% rock solid stable, no weird issues, reboots, blue screens, etc.... Performance is what you would expect, no disappointments or surprises
Cons: The only real con I can think of would be price
Overall Review: I chose this board as the back-bone for my 12 year old son's first gaming system. I would have probably gone with the Hero XI but this board had the extra connections I needed for the case we chose. The build went without any issues and this board just simply did what it's supposed to do and did it flawlessly. Complete build specs..... Pros: x2 RGB, x2 ADD headers + RGB on the board itself - The main reason why I bought this board- an RGB build. As far as the RGB on board goes.. It looks alright. It could be brighter, but it's not bad. The board design is nice and fits well in my NZXT case. It contains preloaded software to any time you plug in the board with a new HDD it can install the drivers needed to run the board. OC - The OC management in this is beast mode. EZ OC available with multiple modes AND OC's the RAM along with the CPU. Honestly, for the first expensive board i've purchased i'm happy. Not sure why this board has such mixed reviews (eggs) 4/5 MOBO
Cons: RGB could have been brighter, don't know enough about the preset OC profiles (can't edit presets).
Overall Review: Purchased on Thursday morning - paid for next day shipping + fast processing - got it Friday afternoon :)
Pros: ASUS makes excellent products. I am confident the replacement MOBO will continue to function well for many years. Today I completed my new build with the replacement MB. This is the first time I have had to RMA a motherboard. I was really shocked when the first MB would not POST, but happy with the replacement. This is a solid board and has many desirable features.
Cons: The method Newegg uses to evaluate and ship RMA items is really poor! In MHO it is unacceptable to have to wait 2 weeks to receive a replacement for a defective item. In the end I can say I am a satisfied customer, but it took too long to arrive there! Please take this review seriously and consider upgrading your policies!!
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this product!
Pros: This is a very easy MB to Set up. I have no complaints, and think it is well worth the money.
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this Board.
Pros: - Good quality components. - Easy to setup pretty much hassle. - I do like aesthetics but I wouldn't pay extra for it - Asmedia USB controller.
Cons: -Asus auto installs software with Windows 10 installation it can be turned off in UEFI settings but it's on by default. - its price isn't competitive considering the competitor boards do have better features for similar price.
Overall Review: Wasn't my first choice had a Gigabyte board that was malfunctioning decided to go back to Asus ol' reliable..
Pros: - Looks great. - BIOs is best in the business. - Enough fan headers.
Cons: - 4 Phase VMR solution (Lack of VRM information prior to me purchasing.) - Mid-range components, that is more expensive than other brand's high-end motherboards.
Overall Review: - Newegg does not let you return motherboards. So I am stuck with this. - I've been ardent ASUS consumer for 15+ years. Just really disappointed. Probably should have waited for component breakdowns and reviews before purchasing.
Pros: None, board refuse to power up after an ordinary shutdown. Light on the board continue to glow, so it clearly has power. Prior to this, board went to sleep and refused to boot/post until the cmos battery was removed and then re-inserted. Appears to be same problem now, but resetting CMOS no longer fixes the problem.
Cons: ASUS offered me "discounted" shipping to return it for repairs. This is unacceptable. There board is at fault, they must bear the full cost of warranty repairs.
Pros: Motherboard worked fine for 4 months, now a problem with the audio jack
Cons: Motherboard continually freezes up for several seconds then goes back to working normally.
Overall Review: Motherboard worked fine for 4 months then started freezing for several seconds, several times an hour. I spoke to tech support which told me that I had a faulty motherboard. My 2 options were and RMA or advanced RMA. I chose advanced RMA since I cant be without my desktop for a month. I was then notified that they did not have any boards in stock to complete my request. Well here we are over a month later and still nothing from ASUS. I contacted them and was told that they still have no boards available to complete my RMA, and apparently I am supposed to contact them every day and spend 15-20 minutes of my time to check on the stock of the boards. So essentially it is luck of the draw whether or not I get a new board. I had read bad things about Asus customer support, but always liked their product. Well now my dislike of their customer support will always over shadow the product. If you are wise, stay away, very far away from ASUS, If you get a dud, they do nothing to help the situation.
