I do believe any gtx engine > 650TI supports G-Sync. Card documentation does not list  but specs on pcpartspicker says G-sync supported

The price hasn't gone down, even though the Titan V has been announced.     It's likely going to drop in price after the Titan V is released, but no one knows when that will be.  My AMD Ryzen 1800x and the motherboard I dropped in price by nearly half because the Threadripper was released.

I still love this card.  It plays everything, and my overclocked system is still amazing. 
However, if you want bleeding edge technology, wait for the Titan V

Does this card support SLI?

Any Nvidia GPU with gold pins located (near the video ports, on the back of the card, near the top) support SLI. Because that is where the SLI bridge attaches to.

Expect it to reach ~250W.  Give or take a little.

Just wondering, is there a reason why it isn't mentioned that this card supports SLI while the non OC Strix 1080ti says SLI Support? Just wanting to know if this GTX1080TI-O11G supports SLI.

Absolutely. As long as you have two of the same to ensure the clock speeds match up. Otherwise it'll downclock to the speed of the slowest card.

depends on the game i play Overwatch/shadowsofwar/bf1 etc more modern games that are optimized well at a solid 60fps no dip so yea

I have two of these in sli, do you think they have to horse to run the up and coming Asus PG27UQ?

It depends too much on the game to give any solid answer. 
anandtech had the 1080 ti doing ultra 4K around 100fps In battlefield 4. so 2 should have no trouble. But a lot of games don't support SLI. And some things straight up just crash with SLI enabled. So if you're comfortable with the issues that come along with it. Go for it.

Will two of these cards in SLI block my PCI slots for a sound card?

This is entirely dependent on the motherboard you choose.  This is a pretty wide card needing some airflow, so any mobo will have to have its pci slots set pretty wide.  Not uncommon, just be aware.

Does this card throttle ?

Yes with the ASUS GPU TweakII software you can throttle with the presets or it has an advanced option where you can make manual tweaks. I would only recommend the advanced if you know what you are doing or you do you research ahead of time. It also has a nice feature called Gaming Booster, which stops and unnecessary windows processes, frees up any memory and minimizes windows graphical overhead... Love this card!
