can i use core i7-7700k?

The Strix Z270E Gaming has a LGA1151 socket designed for Intel's 6th and 7th gen processors, including the i3, i5, i7, Pentium, and Celeron processors.

It's more than capable of fully utilizing an i7 7700k.

As an aside, with an i7 7700k processor, make SURE you're using a motherboard with the Z270 chipset. A Z170 will be able to use the chip, but won't be able to take advantage of the upgraded features of the KabyLake architecture used on intel's 7th gen chips.

Also, a i7 7600k, or i5 7600k is more than adequate for most users, including most gamers. Most people don't need the hyperthreading of the #7##k series.

does this support m.2?

Yes, both M.2 SATA and M.2 NVME.  I believe only one slot supports NVME and the second slot supports either, for a total of two M.2 slots on the front of the motherboard.  I installed a Samsung NVME M.2 with this board, and all seems to be well so far.

Am I going to need to buy a WIFI adapter, or will this suffice?

This board has built in WiFi with an antennae that I was able to magnetically attach to the side of my case (NZXT H440). I haven't had any issues with my connection via the WiFi built into the board.

Does this support 5.0 Ghz Wifi?

Yes it supports 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz Wifi

You can verify by going to ASUS website directly. Newegg will not allow me to post the link to the specifications page from the manufacture. I guess they are scared you might learn something. lol. But yes, your are fine using 5.0 Ghz. Personal experience is that mine motherboard is still in the box as I am waiting to purchase memory and a GTX 1070 video card, before I actually built it.

Actually, AMD isn't better. It's just cheaper, less effective and overall bad.

The mother board doesn't matter all that much as long as it has the features you want on it (ie. M.2 support, WiFi, etc) and can support the CPU that you want. This board is a z270 board so it supports the 7th generation of Intel chips.

The i5 4460 is lga 1150 and the z270e strix is a lga 1151 so it will not be compatable. This mother board is for 7th gen Intel cpu's. I hope this helps you out. Good day.

Does This mobo have integrated graphics? Can I boot the computer without a graphics card? I have ordered a dedicated graphics card but I won't receive it for another month after I get the mobo.

NO, the motherboard does not have an on-board graphics card. If you have an Intel chip with on-board graphics then you would be able to use that until your dedicated graphics cards is delivered.

Will DDR3 memory work in this motherboard?

None of the LGA 1151 socket boards support regular DDR3. You must use DDR3L. The motherboard might support standard DDR3 but according to Intel the internal memory controller on Skylake chips does not.

You will need to purchase DDR4 or DDR3L memory. Standard DDR3 memory will work, but Intel contends that it will result in premature failures due to the higher voltages.
