Pros: Works well as an Ethernet connected access point. Strong signal on both bands.
Cons: When I used it as a non-wired repeater, it would drop the wireless connection with the main router every few days and I'd have to go through the connection process all over again. Also, the device comes with very little documentation. I had to contact Asus, which was responsive, to get instructions for connecting it as an access point. I couldn't find a manual on-line.
Pros: Once setup it does what it was designed to do.
Cons: I am using this as a signal Booster / Repeater my network is setup with a MAC address white List. I couldn't find MAC address needed for the white list in interface via Web Browsers nor in the documentation. I figured it out, it was one number higher than was listed in the interface.
When setting up via Wifi it doesn't tell you any feedback if it failed to authenticate due to Password or Mac address block. You need to connect it to a PC to see a message password invalid.
I did contact support they were some help but not great.
Overall Review: I couldn't find any firmware updates? I don't know if they didn't write any or there web site malfunction.
Pros: Configuring it in access point mode was easy- plug into router using ethernet cable and follow the clicks on the setup page. 2G and 5G seem to be strong as I'm getting a decent 5G signal from the 2nd floor (unit is on 1st floor). Data transfer rates in 5G are the same as from the parent router so the speed doesn't seem to suffer much from the wired ethernet connection being only 10/100.
Wifi networks are stable so far after a couple days use. Haven't tested it in repeater/extender mode so can't speak to the problems other reviewers may be having.
Other pros: small size, can turn the night light and blue network light off, price.
Cons: Ethernet is only 10/100 and not gigabit.
Pros: -Nice design
Cons: -No product support, ASUS website is a joke.
-This product is either really new, or was not meant for the US market
-It simply does not work no matter if you do it with WPS or manually connecting to your existing wifi.
Overall Review: -I would not recommend this product
-It was a cheap purchase so I guess it's good as a night light.
Pros: Probably works well as an access point or repeater
Cons: Advertised as a media bridge but is not capable of that function.
Pros: make range farther.
nightlight look cool.
Cons: Never got back my rebate money.
Overall Review: Never got back my rebate money.
Pros: Very small and compact
Simple one button setup
Cons: Not much improvement compared to my previous router I bought in 2013.
Pros: Works for two weeks.
Cons: Only Work for two weeks!
Overall Review: Wish I can return it.
