is this router 10/100/1000 or not as advertised? ewviews say it is bot 10/100/1000 only 10/100

warranty is only 30 days like most other electronic routers it is 10/100/1000 and works flawlessly really easy to set up. remember to use same password for both 2.5 and 5 g otherwise it only hooks up at 2.5g. as far as I can tell.

Can the Asus RT-AC1200GE be configured as a wireless repeater?

I don't think so. It has a couple different modes, but a stand alone, wireless repeater (without a network cable) is not one of them that I can tell. It can be plugged is and used as just an access point (no router stuff), but it would need an ethernet cable.

Does this require you to create an account with ASUS like Netgear is now requiring?

To use the router, an account with ASUS is not required that I can recall.

Does this work with windows 7?

why not....any web browser can be used to get to GUI

Can you use this with Fios?

Short answer is NO...but there are ways around it
