Overall Review: Upgraded from a standard router that was years old when I upgraded to Gigabit fios internet. Handles the new speed like a champ with Wifi 6, auto switches between 5 ghz and the 2.4 ghz depending on the device hooked to it, covers a large 3 BR apartment with no problems, has some great software and looks like it belongs in a space ship. Not too expensive for a higher end router and I should be future-proofed for years to come.

Pros: Easy the to set up, but make sure to change to automatic IP address detect.

Overall Review: Love the router!

Pros: Wifi 6 Fast connections on 2.4 and 5G Great coverage I replaced a 8 year old Linksis router with this. I've got 5G coverage in areas that weren't usable before. Supports Mesh WiFi but not needed for my house; this covers all corners.

Cons: Nothing notable

Overall Review: I would recommend. I would buy again. Great product. Update: The router is working great. I wanted to let others know that I did have some problems connecting with an older (4 years) laptop. I updated the wifi driver on the laptop and problem was resolved.

Pros: The LEDS are pretty.!

Cons: I have a tried and true Asus RT-AC88U that has served me well for years..I've never had trouble with it. Thee setup and reliability has always been flawless.. But lately the old war horse has gotten finicky. So I thought the RT-AX82U would be a good replacement for the old war horse. Nope! No matter what I did I could not get it to communicate with my cable modem. Call me crazy, but I have this wild idea that when you lay out this much money for a piece of tech, you should not have to spend hours scouring the internet trying figure out why the thing won't work. So back it goes.

Overall Review: Asus took a step backwards on this one as far as I'm concerned.

Overall Review: Asus doesn't disappoint with this. And the app is a great add on. I used the android app to setup the router and it made it so easy.

Overall Review: This thing is FAST! I get FULL download speed on my PHONE, and I'm paying for a 400mbps connection. Speedtest app on my phone goes to 478Mbps over wi-fi! It features Wi-Fi 6, which is better at managing many connections, and in a world that lives on Wi-Fi, that's a good thing. I thought it'd be a good idea to upgrade my router from the ISP provided one (that I can't control) to my own with the latest features. Oh, and it looks like something out of Elite Dangerous! The feature set is fantastic if you're into fine-tuning your network, and also includes its own AI protection, so your security suite can relax a little bit. Loving it so far! Don't pass this one up!

Pros: I like the the features that come with this device. I like the 802.11ax compatibility.

Cons: I have a problem with it. While my devices connect quickly when issuing an IP address with my devices but right off, I have one computer that after it connected, it said "no internet available." I restarted the device and that didn't resolve the problem. I resolved the problem by connecting with a wire, but that isn't the purpose of using a wireless router. I ran an update on the ASUS AX5400 and then the computer was able to connect. I thought that resolved the problem but it didn't. The next day when I connected the computer the same thing happened. After several tries of connecting the computer it connects but it isn't consistence and I can't rely on this router to support this one wireless device. I will need to contact ASUS and see what they can say. Again the router gives my computer an IP address, it just can't give internet to the computer.

Overall Review: - With this bug I can't recommend this device and for the price I expected a lot more from it.
