Pros: -Great coverage. -Easy to use ASUS GUI. -Compatible with DD-WRT (use the "RT-N66U" download).
Cons: -Power cable (90-degree) can seem like it gets kinked easily depending on the orientation that you use it in. Not necessarily a bad thing, I would have just preferred a more straight type of connector.
Overall Review: -The stock ASUS GUI is great if you're not into the whole DD-WRT thing. The menu options and features are pretty neat, and offer a task manager type of view for CPU usage, etc. -Ran the stock firmware for a couple weeks and then installed DD-WRT. Memory usage is super low, with roughly 10% to 15% of the router's RAM being utilized. I've installed DD-WRT on older routers and these percentages were in the high 90's due to the available hardware. I feel like ASUS certainly kept this in mind when designing the RT-N66 models, allowing us techies to do our thing!
