If you mean WiFi, yes.  I have connected it to my wireless ac and I know it detected my wireless N network, as well.  So, you shouldn't have any trouble connecting it to your wireless router.

I believe it is.  I saw the Windows 10 popup come up shortly after I got it.  You may want to do some research before upgrading.  I remember seeing some comments mentioning that there were some compatibility issues and some of the hardware not working.

Where can I find the Windows 8.1 product key. It was not included in any documentation or in the invoice.?

From the WinX Menu in Windows 10 / 8.1, open an elevated command prompt window, type the following command and hit Enter:

wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey

Your Windows product key will be displayed.

Get Windows License Key using PowerShell

Open a PowerShell windows with administrative privileges, type the following command and hit Enter:

how strong is the wifi?

I've never had a problem with the T100TAF picking up signals.  I have taken it on trips and the motels' WIFI always can through.  In other words, the WIFI appears to be strong, if that's the correct term.

Question 5

Does this ASUS T100TAF-B12-GR have two speakers?  My model looks like it has two but only has one.

According to the model number and description it is supposed to be stereo which to me means two working speakers. Mine had left and right balance controls but sound came out only on the left side.  Even when the right side balance was set totally to the righ the rights sound would only come out the left speaker.

To me that is not stereo.

are the RAM and SSD upgradable?

No.  The unit is sealed, so you can't upgrade the RAM or the SSD.  But, there is a micro SD port and you can add memory (like a hard disk), but not the RAM.

can I print with my Hp xd mc mmc wireless?

It connects to my wifi just fine and prints to my Brother color laser printer without issues. I have not printed to an HP printer, but it uses a standard Windows 8 or Windows 10 (haven't upgraded yet) operating system, so it should work the same as any other Windows-based PC.

How well does this run Linux? Have you had  any problems installing it?

Depends on which distro. Linux can pretty much run on just about anything. Of course, Ubuntu with Unity is going to be a heavier load and I wouldn't necessarily suggest installing it on a laptop with an Atom processor. Try Xubuntu or even Lubuntu or Mint. Or, depending on what you need from Linux, an non-GUI install could work well on this, of course.

Concise Answer:  No, it does not come equipped with an optical drive.

Longer Answer:  The Asus T100TA basically has two functional storage ports; a USB 3.0 on the left-side of the keyboard, toward the back, and a storage slot for a TransFlash (a.k.a. micro-SDxx flash) memory card on the right-side of the monitor, near the top.

Horrendous Length Answer:  What I have done personally with our Asus T100TA, and what I would suggest to you, is to (acquire) and plug-in a quality USB 3.0 HUB.  When you do, you will have multiple USB slots available to you.  I have an RF Mouse transceiver plugged into slot one.  I have a 2.5" external hard drive plugged into the second slot.  You could purchase an external optical drive, and plug it into one of the slots.  HUBs can be purchased in all sorts of configurations, but the most common number of USB output ports would be (IMHO) 4, 5, 7, and 10.

Concerning the micro-SDxx slot; I have inserted a 32 Giga-Byte, UHS-I / Class 10, micro-SDHC memory card.  There are a number of fine manufacturers out there, such as:  SanDisk, G.Skill, Transcend, Kingston, PNY, Patriot, and Samsung -- to name but a few of my favorites (all available at Newegg).
