Will this work with a ryzen 5 3600?

yes it will I had one with a ryzen 7-3700x thats same gen as your chip and it was a great board for me till i sold that system to a friend for a substantial profit lol, this board will also support the next gen of ryzen chips the 5000 series but it may require you to boot with a 3k chip and flash the bios before it will support the 5k
