Yes, as noted in the specs this motherboard comes with onboard LAN. It is an Intel I219-V capable of 10/100/1000 gigabit speeds.

Where is the 2nd m.2 slot???

It is underneath the heatsink (which is shown in the picture undernath the word "TUF GAMING" - and has a screw on the outer left and right sides)... You have to unscrew those screws - and the m.2 connector will be undernath. The drive adheres to the top of the heatsink with a pre-installed doublesided tape/heat soak material.

However, one note on this motherboard - is that IF you are going to use both drives, the ability to disable one is NOT something that is offered in the EFI/BIOS. I opened a ticket with support, and will see what happens. Also, to run both M.2 drives in PCIE 4x  mode, certain SATA ports cannot be used - and two ports will not be available altogether (e.g I have a raid-0 setup with 2 SATA mechanical drives for data, and then one m.2 nvme drive for Win 10 and the other is used for Arch) . Check out the manual if you have a similar use case, as it's not clear from the start.

Is this motherboard compatible with an i7 9700?

Affirmative! They actually apir well together, as the board is superior in quality and this CPU has the speed and overclovking ability to keep things going at their max. The 9700 is part of the Intel socket 1151 family of CPU's, as is the motherboard. There is a caution here: some 1151 CPU's cannot take advantage of the Intel 300 series of 1151 board's tech advantage. What you are asking about is a great combination and will run Win 11 whith out any problem. A CPU below the 8700 range will not run Win 11. Go for it, and happy gaming!!

I disagree with the other answer. Asus's website says it supports CrossFire, but it doesn't say it supports SLI. CrossFire works with just x4/x4 modes. SLI requires x8/x8 modes. I don't see this broad supporting SLI unless I misread the specs on Ausu's website.

Does this Tuf Z390 MOBO support Intel Wireless-AC 9560, M.2 2230 wi-fi?

Yes, this version having (Wi-Fi) in parentheses denotes that the motherboard was designed with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology as specified by Intel for the 390 chipset. The wireless module is inserted (at the factory) into an M.2 socket, however only motherboards (like this one) that are designed for CNVi (what Intel names this) will accept the module.

You will still have two M.2 empty full speed (4x PCIe) slots to use, it does not take up space that you could/would use.

The specific adapter on this board is the Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 - and includes Bluetooth 5 as well.

In short, you do not need to purchase anything else to get the WiFi and Bluetooth - and doesn't take up a usable slot. You just need to make sure it says "Wi-Fi" in the title of the board.

PS/2 has built on support. "It just works because it’s electrically wired to the low-pin count (LPC) controller which talks directly to the chipset.  With USB devices, the OS would need drivers to communicate with the USB hardware. That’s not any issue today because all operating systems have USB support baked in but you may run into situations, like during installation, where the OS fails to initialise the USB controller or its driver. In that case, having a PS/2 port is life saver." PS/2 ports may be favored for security reasons in a corporate environment as they allow USB ports to be totally disabled, preventing the connection of any USB removable disks and malicious USB devices.[9]
The PS/2 interface provides no restriction on key rollover.

Some claim that the PS/2 Ports are not so heavy on system resources
Some USB keyboards may not be able to operate the BIOS on certain motherboards due to driver issues or lack of support. The PS/2 interface has near-universal compatibility with BIOS.

i have a case with two fans in the front and then i want to add three extra fans, all 120 mm. can i do this with this motherboard?

This board has 2 chassis fans connectors, 1 CPU fan + 1 opt CPU fan conn, 1 cooler pump connector. Your options are either get splitters and connect 2 fans per connection or get a fan controller and connect all the fans to it.

This has a socket meant for 9th and 8th gen (generation), i5 is the type of CPU, this motherboards socket does not support 3rd generation. So either get a new CPU or try to find a compatible motherboard. (Look at the first number in the 4 numbers that come after your CPU name)
