can you ad an m.2 nvme ssd?

There's no internal space to add another disk, but you can swap disks. I replaced mine when I bought it with a Toshiba THNSNK128GVN8 M.2 2280 128GB SSD.

Can I upgrade this to a 2TB ssd?  If so which would be best?

According to the specs, you would be able to upgrade to a  2tb SSD (2.5" drive) like item # N82E16820156175.

For the M.2 drive, I am only seeing upto 1tb support. Please check with manufacturer for confirmation.

However, the best way to confirm specs is actually by checking the manufacturer's website. With many of our products you can click on the "Warranty & Returns" tab and you will find the Manufacturer's contact info, including the manufacturer's website.

Is the HDD and Memory removable?

Maybe with some disassembly.  There is only one large cover for the bottom of the computer. It has a build that is designed to be compact, larger mobile workstations have more features like that. I know that ACER has been good at meeting this desire.

The picture for 128 GB SSD shows a fingerprint scanner but does not say whether or not it has one in the specifications. When i change it to 256 GB SSD, the pictures does not show a fingerprint scanner and does not say whether or not it has a fingerprint scanner in the specifications. Does this computer have a fingerprint scanner for all SSD options?

The VivoBook does have a fingerprint sensor, however the model also has different variants which may or may not include the feature.
