How does this attach to a vesa mount? Is the vesa mount hidden under the panel where the stand attaches?

Yes it's hidden under a plastic cover that the stand mounts in, . For people that use multi monitor stands, the place where it mounts to the monitor is not in it;s standard place, it's lower and won't line up with older center of the monitor spots. Hope i said that correctly, not an issue if you change all your monitors but if it's just replacing one, look hard at the pic, it's a lot lower. But again for a wall mount it great, very light but one drawback it has a power block rather then a power cord plugging right into the monitor. But i love the monitor for my needs. SV
