How tall is the monitor with the stand on, not accounting for tilt?

Hello, 
We purchased this monitor for our son. So far he likes it a lot. The monitor attached to the stand sits on the desk at approximately 14 1/4" high.  However, I do wish the stand was adjustable.  It could be a bit higher, if you ask me.

Is the screen anti-glare or is it glossy finished?

I don't believe it is glossy.  I have no problem with glare.  It is great as a second monitor for me.  It would be great if it was the only monitor you had.

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but from the Asus web site it is stated for this monitor that:
Analog Signal Frequency : 24~83 KHz(H)/ 50~75 Hz(V)
Digital Signal Frequency : 24~83 KHz(H)/ 50~75 Hz(V)

Question 6

I am needing DP (Display Port) to DVI-D adapter cables for these monitors.  Could you recommend something?

I run one of mine on a display port and the other on an HDMI both to a single video card with both ports on it.  There are several different ports you can use here, are you sure that this is the conversion you actually need?  If so, I know new egg has a wide selection of cables that will convert from one type to another.

The ASUS VS208N-P 20' is just what I am looking for, except it does not have built-in speakers. Is there another ASUS product with same or better quality and built-in speakers?
