Is this good for college?

I bought this for my high school student but I do not see why it wouldn't be a great laptop for college.  It has sufficient RAM for web browsing and processing power for some gaming but not heavy.   Screen looks great for streaming videos.  It should be able to handle mutitazki g first e as well.  Laptop is really solid. I did not buy it as the best but one to handle things such as Google docs etc as well as do the normal things such as browsing.  My Child's only complaint was I could have bought a smaller screen size to make it  easier to tote around but she is not disappointed by that.  I hope this helps.

can this laptop be used as a gaming?

moderate, basic gaming. The integrated GPU works nicely but if you are trying to play the newest games at medium-high settings, you will want a laptop with dedicated GPU

I've been reading reviews about people having trouble with the wifi adapter. Is anyone else having these troubles or was it just faulty parts for a few buyers?

No, wasn't a deal breaker for us. Full keyboard with number pad though.

Is the touchpad clickable or triggered by touch?

The touchpad is triggered by touch. But the right-click needs to be triggered clicking the bottom of the touchpad.

Is there a build in webcam? I can't see any information indicating there is or is not one.

According to the Asus website pictures.., it DOES have a webcam.    A rep should be able to confirm though.

How many RAM Slots does this LT have?  I need one with two slots for RAM.  I am NOT using this LT for gaming. Thanks in advance.

Buy a ASUS ROG like I did and you have it all!!!!!!!!!! I'm not much for Intel i7 but they don't have AMD. AMD is my choice. I also buy Radeon Video Cards. And my Laptop is a  GTX!!!!!
