Is this mobo compatible with: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4-21300) Desktop Memory Model CMK32GX4M4A2666C16 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233712 Im putting this rig together and getting a code 53 error, the rig did boot up twice before.

When I boot my rig up I first get a mobo error 6d code which is "System agent DXE initialization (system agent module specific). The unit will sit there and reboot after a few minutes coming back to the same 6d mobo error code.

When the unit is on the DRAM light is constant red on the MOBO. This indicates a problem with the DIMMs speed. I press and hold the MemOK button the unit reboots to code 53 "Memory initialization error. Invalid memory type or incompatible memory speed"

If I hold down the MemOK button and do not let it go the unit keeps trying to reboot. I let it try to reboot about 10 times until I let the unit boot up and now the DRAM light was blinking (testing different speeds) but then turns constant red and back to error 6d.

At a loss why this isnt working. The unit did boot up twice before. It recognized 16GB of RAM not 32GB though.

The maximum memory supported is 64GB, while many other manufacture's x99 boards support 128GB. Is the max memory able to be increased with a BIOS update? If so, is that likely to happen?

Once 16GB unbuffered RAM DIMMs are released you will be able to use them with this board, so then have up to 128GBs of RAM.  I would not put too much stock in manufacturer spec lists.

I have seen 16GB DIMMs mentioned on tech sites, but cannot find them for sale anywhere yet.

How is the RAM setup up for 4 RAM count? 2 on each side of CPU or all 4 on one side?

4 on each side - total 8 slots, Asus has a very nice quick start guide to show how one should occupy the slot for 1, 2,3,4,...stick(s). However, you want to have 4 or 8 sticks for Quad Channel. I used 4 sticks and as recommended I used 2 on the left and 2 on the right (A_1, B_1, C_1, and D_1) leaving 4 empty slots (A_2, B_2,C_2, and D_2) for quad channel.

Can anyone recommend a good CPU heatsink/fan or liquid cooler for this board? Want something that is going to perform/fit well on this board.

It should work, but you would want four sticks of RAM to take advantage of all four channels for maximum performance.

I see the motherboard pictured with the thunderbolt card, But is it included or do you have to purchase it separately. Also does it come with brackets for the additional usb ports, the ones that go in the empty card slots on the back of the case.

Will this fit into my ATX tower and does it come with the intel processor?

Yes, it will fit into your ATX tower.  It has the normal 12 x 9.6 inches form factor.  It will not come with the processor.  You may find a bundle with this MB and a processor.  Most important is that this board requires a compatible processor.  If the processor does not specify LGA 2011-v3, it does not go with this MB.

Can this motherboard support 5 chassis fans? (Excluding the CPU fan(s))?

Yes it does, there is a fan expansion card which adds 4-5 more headers where you can add fans. I am not sure of the total number, but it is much more than 5 + 2 CPU fans. And all the headers are 4 pin, so you can purchase fans that change speed dynamically and they will all work excellently. The only catch is that the fan expansion card does not seem to have a place to mount it and the two mounting brackets that come with it don't fit in my case except in a drive bay.

I used a radiator with 2x140mm fans for the CPU and have four additional fans in the case plus the fan in the PSU. It is almost impossible to tell that the box is running unless you put your ear next to the exhaust. (No overclocking and my 2x vid cards are fanless.) Good luck, hope that helps.
