I am using a Kingston HyperX headset that i connect to the front of my computer via USB. Can i still use this headset with this sound card??

If you're asking whether you can connect the headset to the sound card, no.  This sound card uses headphone jacks like you'd use on a cell phone.

If you're asking whether you can use the headphones while also having this sound card in your computer, yes.  By default, Windows outputs all sounds to one sound output that you choose (you can change it at any time), but some games/etc let you choose the output, and there are also third party programs that will let you choose an output for each program.

Does this allow me to do 96kHz playback and recording?

I believe so I know with the playback but I don't do much recording so I don't see why it wouldn't.

Are there any problems with the Windows 10 driver for this card?

No, I have it in this computer that I use daily and I am currently typing on. It works great and sounds great. Windows 10 Pro x64 is the OS

will this work on an x570 board?

Yes, as long as it has an empty PCI-E slot (any size).  Using some slots will slow a GPU in another PCI-E slot - check the motherboard manual for details.

Will this work with a PCI Express 2.0 slot?

A web search suggests that PCIe2 is backward compatible with PCIe1.  I would give you the URL but Newegg does not allow.  You will of course only get the PCIe1 speed, but that will not matter.

NO! Mine is not working in Windows 11. It will only work as "Stereo" and will not recognize the other speakers.

Looking for a sound card that will support 5.1 to a Home theater Receiver pasthrough SPDIF, Does this sound card support that? or is like the other cards that only support 2 channel SPDIF and 5.1 through analog multichannel.  Very misleading specs with not enough info.

this card will work with 5.1 content but will not use ur subwoofer or rear/side speakers with stereo content also is not supported by the Uni xonar modded driver

Will this pass through 5.1 sound on SPDIF output?  My onboard SPDIF output only support stereo on Windows 10 (an apparently known issue with X470 based motherboard and Realtek drivers, and the 'fix' for it makes things worse, not better.)  I want to make sure this card will give me 5.1 on SPDIF before I purchase.

Question 9

Will this card allow 5.1 sound through the SPDIF cable?  My onboard SPDIF output (X470-based motherboard) with realtek drivers does not, an apparently known-issue with the x470's, and I want to make sure this will do the trick before purchasing.
