Does this come with a cable for the card reader?

It comes with a two to one USB 3 cable that is split. The two cable end goes into separate ports that you can see in the picture, The single end goes into the USB header on the motherboard.

I insalled this reader on my system with  Asus Z97 Pro. Since I attached the reader, system will not stay in sleep mode. It will go to sleep and starts again immediately. Are you able to put your system to sleep?

I installed this device when I built the machine.  I have always had trouble connecting with the card reader.
Interesting you asked about sleep mode.  I never had any trouble putting the machine into sleep mode by using the on screen windows command.  Just recently I tried using the keyboard to put the machine into sleep mode, and it does dome right back out of sleep mode.  If I leave the machine it eventually goes to sleep on the power schedule. Since this device has always been installed I never attributed this to that device.  How are you putting the machine to sleep?  Try using the windows menu and not the keyboard.  I am running Win 8.1.  I am going to disconnect the device on my machine to see if my issue goes away.  In conclusion I can't say for sure if this reader is causing a problem or not.  I will know this weekend though.  Thanks for asking the question.

I am running 64 bit version and all the reader/USB ports work.

Thank for your help. The system doesn't stay in sleep mode no matter if it is system initiated (turned off after a 15 minutes) or manually by clicking the sleep on screen. The system goes to sleep and wakes up after a second! I unplugged the power to the unit (the power is for USB 3.0 hub and not the readers). The system functions fine without the additional USB 3.0 ports (I can read my CF and SD cards) and system stays in sleep. But I would like to use the extra USB 3.0 ports also. I checked all settings in device manager for USB ports and they are all set properly. Any Idea?

I'm no expert, but I've not had any issues with this device taking my computer out of sleep mode.  If you've checked all the power management tabs on all of the USB ports through the device manager, then is it possible there is something else taking your PC out of sleep mode?  Maybe a gaming peripheral.  I know I had some issues with some of my gaming peripherals because they were listed under multiple devices.  My keyboard has a touch screen and it was listed under mice as well as keyboards, and my wireless mouse dock also counts as a device that can wake up the system.  Just some food for thought.

Will this plug into the Asus Prime Z370-A motherboard?

It will plug into either of the USB 3.1 Gen 1 Connectors (20-1 pin) on the motherboard. See page 1-16 of the user manual available at ASUS. Orientation may be an issue depending on your case of choice and space available.

Will this work in any Dell Inspiron 560?

Probably not as your motherboard does not have a USB 3.0 Header.

I have just installed this item in my Win7 computer.  While the card readers are fine, NONE of the USB 3.0 ports are functioning.  I have unplugged and rebooted and swapped cables all to no avail.

Any suggestions?  I sent an email 2 days ago to the mfr and so far have received no reply.  Hmmm....

I had just the opposite. mfg sent me a replacement immediately no problem.  the new one works perfectly( over 8 months) so go after them again. of coarse, I complained within two days of receiving it.
