I have 3 monitors. My dedicated work computer can only use 2 monitors and my personal computer can use all 3. Will this switch enable me to toggle between 3 monitors on my personal computer and just share 2 monitors on my work computer using the same keyboard and mouse?

This device has 2 VGA and audio inputs and 2 VGA outputs. Either input can be switched to either output. You could share 1 monitor from your personal computer and 1 monitor from your work computer. We use this switch at church where we have 2 PC and 2 projectors. With this switch I can toggle the display on projector A and/or projector B to use the video from either PC 1 or PC 2. This switch was the only one I found that switches both audio and video. This is not KVM switch so no connections for keyboard or mouse.
