ATI DVI-HDMI Adapter Model 6141054300G

Pros: CHEAP!! WORKS!! Just make the ATI Onboard HDMI Audio device your default sound device, and boom, you have video and sound to your hdtv. Mine is a 52" Samsung. Definitely satified overall.

Cons: 1- Little metal "prongs" that are meant to keep the hdmi cable securely attached protruded too far out, and nearly ruined the cable when I tried to plug it in. Had to use pliers to press the "prongs" against the housing so that the cable would fit. 2- It was difficult to attach the adapter to the DVI port on the video card. Had line up the little horizontal flat pin just right before it would go on. Impossible to do in shadows or low light. After lining it up right, had to use a bit of force to get it on there, it is a very snug fit.

Cons: No Con should have read the review- NO AUDIO does not work with HD4K cards.

Overall Review: It would be nice if Newegg would cut a little brake on small item shipping. Still after spending 5K plus and spenting more, no problems and very pleased.

Pros: Cheap. Works like a standard DVI to HDMI adapter. My HD3650 card has built in HD audio decoding and can transfer both audio and video with an appropriate DVI-HDMI adapter from ATI. Bought this adapter thinking it would transfer HD audio and video to my 46" LCD

Cons: This adapter will trasfer video and audio only for HD2k cards. Will transfer only video with HD3k cards. Need a different ATI adapter (Part Number: 61400635006) for HD3k models.

Overall Review: Paid more for shipping than for the adapter. Newegg should offer USPS or free shipping option for cheaper products like this adapter.

Pros: Well I figured out how to make the hdmi audio work with this dvi adapter. I found the info on the ATI site. Pretty simple actually. I'm changing my review from a 3 to 5, because it works exactly as described.

Cons: Only does 5.1 audio, but this is not really a con to me.

Overall Review: Is there some way to update a review here on newegg or just make a new one?

Pros: Although HDMI is single link, group of pins normally missing in others adapters is here, for audio (but only some ATI GPUs; no audio pins in the DVI port standard. My Philips TV had no audio connection to go with it's HDMI port, this got sound working.

Cons: ATI modification of DVI pin-out to add audio is only on some Radeon GPUs...maybe not yours

Overall Review: Try to find out if it can work on your card before ordering.

Pros: This product works just how it should. Audio cannot be transferred through DVI; only video. HDMI is capable of audio transfer, but that capability is lost once it passes through a DVI adapter.

Pros: One of these came with my Msi Radeon hd2600 pro. Good idea but it falls a little flat, see cons.

Cons: Video worked but audio didn't. I searched through ati's catalyst software and HD audio manager but can find no options to get the audio going. I also googled with no luck.
