Prior to installation, a professional cutter should cut a square hole in the desired location of the receptacle.
Junction Box Dimensions: 3 7/8*3 7/8*2 1/8 inches
Receptacle and Cover Dimensions: 4 11/16*4 11/16*2 1/4 inches (when closed)
Any excess wires should be pulled out of the box or made flat on the bottom of the box, to avoid interfering with the opening mechanism.
An additional plastic plate is provided to prevent the entry of dirt when installing the junction box. It can be removed when installing the outlet.
