Treatlife Smart Switch is a great way to start building your smart home system. It allows you to easily control your lights with your smartphone from anywhere, anytime.
Not only can you save on energy bills and secure your home with custom timers but also control all the lights if you install Treatlife switches throughout your house. You can also experience voice-activated lighting just with your voice through Alexa or Google Assistant.
- Treatlife Light Switch comes with labels, the wall plate, and the necessary accessories for your installation.
- You can follow the clear direction to complete the wiring and pairing.
- It connects to your home's Wi-Fi network. No need for a hub or extra equipment.
Wire Identification: Neutral: Group of white wires, usually not connected to the old switch.
Ground: Green or bare copper wire. Line: Usually black. Connects to the circuit breaker and old switch.
Load: Black or Red. Connects the switch to your device.
After wiring, ensure the wire cap is securely tightened. Faceplate dimensions: 5.07 (L) x 3.34 (W) inches; Switch box: 2.75 (L) x 1.69 (W) x 1.61 (D) inches.
FAQ
Why can’t the switch connect to my Wi-Fi?
This switch supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. If your router is set to 5GHz or uses a combined dual-band network, the device may fail to connect. Please ensure the 2.4GHz network is enabled during setup.
Why won’t the switch work after installation?
This switch requires a neutral wire and correct Line/Load wiring. If the wiring is incorrect or the electrical box does not include a neutral wire, the switch will not function properly.
Is this switch compatible with 3-way circuits?
No. This model is designed for single-pole use only and cannot be installed in 3-way or multi-location circuits.
Why is Alexa not responding to the switch?
Please make sure the “Treatlife” skill is enabled in the Alexa app and your account is properly linked. After enabling the skill, rediscover the device in Alexa to complete the connection.
Which types of lights are compatible with the switch?
This switch works with standard non-smart lighting. It is not compatible with smart bulbs, lights with built-in remotes, transformers, or Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-controlled devices.
