Would these be considered food safe? Looking to use with buttercream to decorate cakes.
I think it's stainless steel. I would have no problem using them to decorate cakes, in fact ! that's a good idea ! Why didn't I think of that !!
How flimsy are these? Or are they pretty sturdy?
These palette knives are actually quite sturdy and I am pleased with their performance.
How long are the blades?
Blade sizes vary based on the type of blade will, in general, be 1 1/2" to 3" no complaints from this end as they cover all my needs.
Can these be used for Acrylics as well? or Just oil?
Of course.
Are these good for smoothing out clay?
These are made for painting, soft acrylic, oil, glaze, gel mediums, texture mediums on canvas and other substrates. If I were painting on my clay, even with a clay medium, yes.
