Will clay dry out in winter?
Cold winter weather makes the clay appear completely dry because the water inside freezes and crystallizes. Just add a little water, place it somewhere warm, wait a bit, then knead - the clay will return to its soft state.
How to “revive” dried clay?
Cut hardened clay into small pieces and place in a sealed bag.
Mist lightly with water and seal.
Warm the bag briefly (sunlight or a gentle steamer).
Knead thoroughly until the clay regains softness.
How to store unused clay after opening?
Use the included spare zip bag to store any unused clay after opening.
Keep in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
