I've been very pleased with this puppy, but a strange thing happened the other day. I put a password on it. It was simple, and easy to type, and had been using it for a couple of months when suddenly the password wouldn't allow me in. I checked the Number Lock, the Caps Lock, and everything was fine. I even went so far as to open up a text editor, and type it out there, and copy/pasted it into the field with no joy.

I finally just gave up, and started clicking the button with nothing entered into the password. After about 20 times (I was desperate) it suddenly opened up just as clean as can be. The first thing I did was disable that password option, went about my business, and haven't had any problems since! Has anyone else had anything like this? Weird...

To tell you the truth, I didn't know this software had a password option since obviously, I don't use it.

If you feel you need to have the program password protected, I would advise you to get a hold of AVG tech support and ask the question first before you choose that option again.
