Yes.  I believe it's what they're referring to as "IDE connectors" in the description.  I think mine also came with a few molex to SATA connectors but I may have already had them...it's been a while.

cant hook this up properly without knowing that.

I apologize  for the lack of information. I'm not really  sure. But the power supply functions amazing even today. No problems so far

Does this have enough amps to power the Radeon R9 285 graphics card?

I wouldn't skimp on your power supply. The actual rated amperage that this PSU puts out is far below 850w. I suggest a Seasonic, Rosewill, or EVGA one instead. I had this power supply and was dissatisfied with it.
